Volante

This is a discussion thread for the Daily Spanish Word for August 27, 2008

volante - masculine noun (el) - steering wheel, flyer. Look up volante in the dictionary

There are different steering wheel designs, but almost all of them are round.

I use timón for steering wheel, but I've heard volante for steering wheel too. I've used volante for pamphlet or form that needs to be filled out like planilla. I hope I'm right about this.

"volante" can be a little form you must fill in some burocratic procediments.
In RAE has a lot of meanings
greetings

PD: Poli, your're still Saphire. Change it! how about "an american in New York"?

I like to blue stone, but I would be willing to personize my epithet. I just don't know how to. I'm afraid I'm having a poli moment.

I only use volante for one bureaucratic procedure: a doctor's referral. Are there any other common uses?

Volante of the cars, or like it can be a steering wheels, I use only the steering wheel of my car or like the gaming uses the steering wheels for example the Play Station, or Atari perhaps, in the life there're a lot of steering wheels in your home in the street or simply you do the way of a steering wheels with your own body.

My expression is very curious, because I said this can you do the way of a steering wheels with your body, I ask me it, How you'll can to do the way of a steering wheels with your body at least hey , a thing, this that I said you is with all the respect ok, then at least you be a person very fat then yes you can be a steering wheels here in my town the persons fats, we tell them Volantitos ijiji, it's very funny.
