Question Soooooo?

I am wanting to know what word to use for "so". There are many choices in this dictionary, but I'm getting mixed information from my friends as to what the word is.

For example:

So what do you look at to tell who’s who?
Sea lions are carnivores so they eat fish, squid, crabs, and clams.
The evidence proved otherwise, so he could no longer claim innocent.

Can you guys help me?

Thanks!

¿qué es lo que miras para distinguirlos?
Sea lions are carnivores so they eat fish, squid, crabs, and clams.
The evidence proved otherwise, so he could no longer claim innocent.

Hi,

Usually so is Así que/Entonces/Así/Así es que. The first two, I think, are the most common. Pues and bueno mean "well" in examples like this:

Bueno/pues/Bueno, pues creo que.....=Well, I think that.......

He has never taken that test before, so he doesn't know what it's like

Muchas gracias
