Original Spanish version of a quote by Miguel de Cervantes

Hi,

It's my first post here and I hope I am in the right section.

I am desperate to find the original version of the quote by Miguel de Cervantes from Don Quixote - "There were no embraces, because where there is great love there is often little display of it"

Thanks a lot!

No se abrazaron unos a otros, porque donde hay mucho amor no suele haber demasiada desenvoltura.

Source looks like it's probably the original text - if it's been modernised, then it was to a version of Spanish which is still rather antiquated.

pjt33 Thank you so much!

I was hoping to use it as a title in a letter I am writing. The english version sounds quite romantic, I wonder if the original version has exactly the same meaning? You mentioned it's rather antiquated are you saying the meaning may not be understood or be relevant these days?

The problem is the word desenvoltura. In spite the DRAE keeps an entry with a meaning similar to the intended one (impudicia, liviandad; similar to the old desahogo, libertad, "impudicia de liviandad" -meaning any manifestation of affection is suspected to be a bit lascivious) nowadays nobody is going to understand it that way -the way the modern English version uses-.
