Here are a couple of the ways I can say "How do you keep up your English?"

"How do you maintain your English?"
"How do you keep your English fresh?"
"How does your English stay so fresh?"
"How do you keep from not using, and losing your English"

Ok, that last one was a stretch. I just wanted to incorporate the saying "If you don't use it, you'll lose it".

The 'be in connection' phrasing doesn't work. You can 'keep in touch' with someone. That sounds very natural. 'Keeping in touch' with something, however, is often limited to 'keeping in touch with your inner self or your feelings'.

No, that doesn't sound natural, either. You 'keep in contact' with someone.

Use the phrasing in the thread title or the others given by Jonathan D.

What do you do to keep up wth your English? Is it correct or we use one of the sentences provided by Jonathan.?

What do you do to keep your English alive?
