Oigo es del verbo oír, y significa I hear (primera persona singular del presente del indicativo)

Oigo is from the verb oír, and means I hear (first person singular of the present indicative tense)

In Spain, in those areas where "seseo" is not usual, the letters "cc" are pronounced /kɵ/, that is, the beginning sound of cap followed by the beginning sound of thing, instead of /ks/, which is the most common pronunciation in the American countries and in some areas of Andalucía, Canarias and Extremadura (Spain).
The phenomena of pronouncing equally the consonant sound in "c+e", "c+i" / "z + vowel" and "s + vowel" is known by "seseo".
That makes equal the pronunciation of casa (house) and caza (hunting).
From the point of view of linguistics, this is said to be a neutralisation of the phonemes /s/ and /ɵ/.

My apologies to those in Spain! I was aware of the /kɵ/ pronunciation, but forgot to mention it to MonteChristo. He may hear it said that way if he runs into someone from Spain. Thanks Alfonso.

El género de las palabras se puede explicar con unas cuantas reglas y unas excepciones que también siguen reglas. Después de un tiempo, empiezas a tener un "sexto sentido" para saber qué genero es una palabra.
