A question about a paragraph

In Spanish I can say both "Este párrafo nos dice..." or "En este párrafo vemos/descubirmos/etc....". I've written "This paragraph tells us...", but maybe "In this paragraph we see that..." or "This paragraph shows us..." would be better. What do you think?

Thanks.

All three are excellent but there may be subtle differences. If you are wanting to express the main thrust of the paragraph, then #1 and #3 are fine. Perhaps with #2, you are wanting to draw conclusions which the paragraph does not make explicit, but provides information for you.

Generally, I'd choose #3

Couldn't have said it better.
