I'm leaning towards....

 

An idiom is an expression whose meaning is not readily apparent based on the individual words in the expression. This forum is dedicated to discussing idioms and other sayings.

I'm leaning towards....

¿Comó se dice en español?

Ejemplo:

I can either travel abroad this summer or take a summer job. I'm leaning towards taking a summer job.

"I'm leaning towards" significa una preferencia pero no todavía decido cuál cosa yo quiero.

You can say estoy pensando buscar un trabajo...

I think that may be more usual, but you can also use the verb favorecer.
example: ahora estoy favoreciendo escoger un auto que consume menos
carburante.

In that case we use the verb "inclinar (incline)"

Puedo viajar al extranjero este verano o tomar un trabajo. Me inclino por tomar el trabajo (este verano).

inclinarse por algo
inclinarse a/por + infinitivo

(This same verb, with different prepositions, means to bend towards, bend over, bend down, etc.)

Inclinarse + a/por + infinitivo
Inclinarse hacia + algo (que no es un infinitivo)
