Question The more you know, the less you need

Saw this bumper sticker that credited it to "Aboriginal saying," and it piqued my curiosity.

Literally, Entre más sabes menos necesitas but there must be a better way to handle it.

I don't think there is a better way to say it. Your translation is just fine.

En España diríamos:

"Cuanto más sabes, menos necesitas".

Aunque se entendería con "entre", no sería lo que usaría un "íbero"...

Coincido con JPablo, y no soy "íbero" a secas sino iberoamericano. El corpus CREA trae ejemplos de México, Colombia y unos pocos de Cuba y parte de Centroamérica.

Mi interpretación de la frase es

MÁS menos necesitas SABES.

Pero suena como un válido uso regional.
