Irse a la cama como las gallinas
This morning I was talking to a friend from NYC, I he said he went to bed at 9.30 p.m last night. I tried to say "Te fuiste a la cama como las gallinas" ANd I said like hens, which in Spanish means very early, but I don´t think they use the same expression in English. Does anybody know the expression in English ?

To go to bed with the chickens is the English equivalent. And there's another half that is sometimes added - and wake up with the cows.
