Can anyone please help me to get the lyrics of the song The Girl from Ipanema in Spanish? Also, if anybody knows where to get its mp3, it would be great! Thanx a lot!

Re: lookin 4 a song
That song is also known as Garota de Ipanema, but if I'm not mistaken, it's in Portugese not in Spanish. Or maybe it has been translated to Spanish as well? It was originally written in Portugese.

Re: lookin 4 a song
I think I heard it sang live in spanish and it sounded to me so much more beautiful then sung in English.. But maybe it was my mistake, cuz two languages have lotsa common words and I'm still a beginner..

Re: lookin 4 a song
A beautiful song, composed by Antonio Carlos Jobim, and original (Portuguese) lyrics written by Vinícius de Moraes.
I've heard versions in several languages. In Spanish I remember one sung by the Spanish group Jarabe de Palo. Personally I prefer it in the original Portuguese. If you google for "chica de ipanema" and letras (that's how we say lyrics), you'll find them. |
