Damnificado
Pienso que daminficado significa un victima de algun disastre. Los que no
salieron ilesos. Los que pierden sus viviendas por un terremoto, o inundación por ejemplo. ¿Estoy en lo cierto? El diccionario (RAE) no la traduce asi. Su definición parece más la palabra en inglés damned.

Then, perhaps I misunderstand the term carácter colectivo.
I thought that may have meant a put down of a person's character rather than a victum of unfortunate circumstance.(which is the way I hear the term damnficado used by LatinAmerican newscasters)
