Exposure notification

I am translating several health letters that are sent out occasionally to parents at our school district, and I'm stuck translating the phrase "Exposure Notification" as in "Head Lice Exposure Notification". The best thing I can come up with was:

Notificación sobre el posible contagio con piojos.

Is this correct? If not, are there any other suggestions.

Thanks a bunch!

Luz

You translation sounds right. In New York in public announcements
they use aviso instead of notificación

Am I too far into left field with this one?

No, you are absolutely right. That is why I suggested infestation.

Hmm, I don't know. I think it sounds fine (if I didn't then I wouldn't have written it), but it would be nice to have a native speaker's opinion?

¿Se puede "contraer" piojos? ¿O usarías otro verbo?

Yo usaría:
  • Coger piojos.
  • Pillar piojos (coloquialmente).
