LOL...LOL....You guys are so funny, it's not like I was pondering on it, I just got home.

Before I tell you, let me explain:

Copos de nieve means snowflakes, right?

So we call them "copitos Jhonson" jajajaaja even if they're not Johnson's.... isn't that funny....LOL......I guess the translation would be "little snowflake tips?"

I really think this is very unique to the area where I grew up, maybe they call it something else nowdays.....but I sure grew up listening to my mother say "Hay que comprar copitos Johnson"....

You're right, Q-tips were never made by Johnson & Johnson. They've been owned by Unilever since 1987. Before that they were owned by Chesebrough-Ponds (1962). And the original Q-tip Company was founded in 1923.
