Correct answer for "- ¿A qué hora te acuestas normalmente?"
- ¿A qué hora te acuestas normalmente?
I thought the correct answer would be "Me acuesto doce de la noche" but to my surprie, it's "En general, tarde, sobre las once y media de la noche". Is it because the 1st one should be "... a las doce ..."? What's wrong with the first one? In the 2nd answer "sobre" seems to mean around, is it common or just in Spain? Thanks |

You're right, your first sentence is not correct because it lacks "a las"; check the way we tell the hours.
And this use of "sobre", although it's understood everywhere, is more common in Spain. Over here, we'd rather say "normalmente/en general, tarde, como a las once y media de la noche".
