Ha llovido mucho desde entonces
When we are talking about something that happened in the distant past , in Spanish we usually say " ha llovido mucho desde entonces " to mean that that was a long time ago, and at present it might be unimportant. IS there a similar expression in English?

Lo siento, yo mezclaba los verbos llorar y llover.
Pienso que sería, "in the good old days/ ages ago"
