I have never heared of chanchullo (coloquial), I think it's only used on MX right?
"Estafa", "timo", are the two I would use(first, estafa). They come from "estafar" and "timar", common verbs everywhere.

"Engaño" can be too.

¿Chantaje? Sólo si "scam" es sinónimo de "blackmail".
