Yes, in popular parlance.

But if you want to be precise, you talk of "gemelos idénticos" and "gemelos fraternos".

Right, got it! I'd always thought that there had to be a clearer, more precise way to distinguish the two - and now I know!

Basically it's the same as the English 'identical' twins and 'fraternal' twins'.
