Por cierto, en muchos doblajes de televisión (sobre todo de unos veinte años para atrás) he oído la palabra "mantecado" por "helado". ¿Alguien sabe en qué región del mundo se dice así?

Hace muchos años, creo recordar haberlo oído así en mi pueblo (hasta que no lo ha dicho Angélica, no lo he recordado). Pero creo que ahora ya nadie dice mantecado. Además, mantecado en Andalucía significa otra cosa (polvorones y demás).

"Mantecado" en el sentido de "mantecado helado" yo lo he oído muchísimo. Y lo puse en mi post anterior en este thread. Y también me los he comido a mogollón. También los que son estilo polvorón, pero los helados siempre fueron muy populares. Los vendedores de las playas de la Costa Brava (norte de Barcelona) gritaban (como creo que he dicho ya en otro tread) "Haaaay heeelaaado-heeelado... hay naranja, limóóóónnn, aaaalmendra, piiiñaaaa, croocanti, mantecaaaado helaaado... al-lolly-loooolly!!!

Me hiciste recordar mi niñez. Había un tipo en la playa que pregonaba su mercancía y decía: "aaaaaaaaaaal rrriiiiiiiiiiicooooooooo venenoooooooooooo, y seguida por por la sarta de nombres del veneno que vendía.

Crecí escuchando ese pregón todos los veranos y cada año esperaba con ansias volver a la playa para escucharlo, era y es tema nostálgico.
