Arrow Cartilla

What is a cartilla? Supposedly it has something to do with a person's medical history. But the dictionary says it means bankbook or primer (book).

Hola ChadH:

cartilla it's a little sheet or little book who explain your history in something (bank, health, army, and so on..).
Examples:

cartilla militar, military record

For kids, cartilla its for read learning (para aprender a leer): first reader, primer
Its a book with big letters, the kids should write them several times.

Cartilla can also be an apprentice's book (craftsman)

Hope this helps.
