¿Conoces tu peso Ideal?

This is the title of an advertisement which annoys me because I thought saber would be correct here. Are they just trying to be different, or is conocer quite correct here? Note the Ideal. Thanks.

The short answer is both are OK here as saber would look better but it still is a short piece of information then conocer will be taken here as its synonym.

Examples:
¿Sabes qué edad tiene?
¿Conoces su edad?

"¿Conoces tu peso ideal?" sounds less demanding -as "saber ciertas cosas" is sort of mandatory- and it's probably aiming to a public that tends to avoid invasive advertisements.

"saber el peso ideal" / "conocer el peso ideal"
Both are correct in this case.

Perhaps --I'm not 100% sure-- the difference is that it refers to a "thing". Like when you say "saber/conocer la edad de alguien". It makes no difference.

But: "sé cuántos años tiene Pedro" is far more used than "conozco cuántos años ....." The latter sounds weird, actually.

If it's talking about a person you know, it's always "conocer": "Conozco a Pedro". The verb "saber" is never used in this sentence.

agree with alec
both are OK, but this case it's advertising:
"conocer" means to learn something new, more about myself in this case
"saber" it's more mandatory, as you don't know something you should...
similar examples:
¿cónoces cómo controlar tu alimentación? Compra el libro XXXXX
¿Sábe tu hijo todo lo necesario para la escuela? Compra la enciclopedia XXXx
In the second case you use "saber" (mandatory) because your children MUST know everything
