Si es para ti, aunque te quites, y si no, aunque te pongas

Translating it literally wouldn't work, I reckon.

Is it something like: "Although she/he is into you, you back off, if not, you get to be the one who pursues him/her."?


That's the best translation I'd come up with, even though I think that the last part is total nonsense.

This relates to anything, be it luck or love, is coming your way, or not.

Si es para ti, aunque te quites, y si no, aunque te pongas = If it is for you, even you if you try to avoid it (it will "hit" you), if not, even if you get in the way (it will not "hit" you)


is that understandable?
