Good course to learn spanish?

Hi!
I'm new here and would like some help to start learning spanish.
I've been invited to Spain and it's possible I will move there for work, so I'd like to know what's a good course to learn spanish, at least the basic spanish and then get a bit more advanced.

Any help would be appreciated

For peninsular Spanish I would recommend "Assimil Spanish with Ease".

http://www.amazon.com/Spanish-Ease-L.../dp/2700510704

One thing I like about Assimil is that the audio is all in the target language. If you do the course as recommended by the publisher, you will have a very solid grounding in the language, or in other words, a good place to start with native materials.

Good luck

Two things I've used and been very happy with (besides this forum!) are:
- Rosetta Stone software
- "Practice Makes Perfect" Spanish workbooks

Apart from the course you may find useful the other solution. One of best ways of learning the 2nd language is to find a person who is a native of this language and is interested in learning your native language. Then - just talk/mail/chat with her/him. You may use skype or any other communicator.

When you enter in google 'language exchange' you will find a lot of portals which make finding of those persons easily.

Good luck

If you understand french and want a lot of practice I use la grammaire espagnole a través de los ejercicios, this is purely grammar. But very good up-to-date vocabulary
