No mezclamos los garbanzos

"No mezclemos los garbanzos con las lentejas", o también, "no mezclemos churras con merinas" (razas de ovejas). Significa que no hay que mezclar temas diferentes, especialmente cuando hablamos de algo en concreto.

Estábamos hablando de economía, no sé qué tiene que ver el partido de fútbol de ayer. No mezclemos garbanzos con lentejas, por favor.

Does 'tener que ver' mean ' it has to do with'?

If I want to say : 'What has that got to do with it/anything?' , how could I say this in Spanish?
