This idiom is used when we face a bad situation and we want to minimize the importance of the problem saying that we have gone through worse situations and we came through.how can we say it in English?

I don't think there is a corresponding idiom. A general translation would just be something like We've survived worse. In films, the trope would be that one character says to the other "Remember XYZ?", where XYZ is the place where they survived worse.

Yo creo que sólo se usa en España. Hay pocas expresiones relacionadas con el toreo que se usan en otros países.
