Poner de manifiesto

Note: I probably should have said:
"Cuando se usa 'poner de manifiesto', no crea algo (dato); se muestra algo con énfasis."


Or something along those lines.

Note about note [edit]: or should it be; "Cuando se usa 'poner de manifesto', no está creando algo (dato); se está muestrando algo con énfasis."

Just semantics...

Para mi, highlight = destacar, realzar, resaltar.

To manifest = uncover, expose (coming from not seen to a predominant position, so everyone can see it) it is not to be confused with "to create".

I think....
