Para eliminar toxinas

Para eliminar toxinas

¿Cómo se puede decir en inglés " Hacer el amor es bueno porque ayuda a eliminar toxinas"?
Me suena una expresión con steam, sería correcto " to have sex is good because it helps you release steam or sth like that?

Releasing steam is ridiculous, and biologically incorrect. You could actually say "... gets rid of toxins".

What you probably mean is "... because it allows you to let off steam". "To let off steam" is used metaphorically to reduce some kind of pressure.

toxins is a stronger word, but as perikles said "let off steam" is a common phrase. In relation to sex, it is common to hear it "relieves stress" or "tension." Perhaps those would work as well.

No es slang en absoluto, más bien es una colocación, o una frase echa. Colocación porque no puedes decir deshacerte de toxinas, siempre van unidas en ese contexto.

@Cloud: En general, si se trata de una actividad física por medio de la cual se "eliminan toxinas", la expresión es una forma de decir que se suda.
Aunque en sentido figurado, puede interpretarse que también se eliminan toxinas emocionales y, por lo tanto, sirve como una forma de desfogar tensiones.
