Echo de menos o me falta

Echo de menos siendo joven.
Me falta siendo joven.

Creo/Pienso que sean/son mas o menos lo mismo pero cuál es mejor y más
?????? ??????
comúnmente utilizado?

¿Son las diferencias sutiles?

Podría estar totalmente equivocado en todo.

Como siempre, gracias de antemano.
