The subjunctive tense in Spanish implies doubt or speculation. We don't use it much in English. Instead we may use the word may or other such
words that soften a sure thing.
I found a good explanation of it in a website. I'm sure it will help

Poli, where is the doubt or the speculation in:
  • Me gusta que vengas con nosotros.
  • Quiero que vivamos siempre así.
  • Te digo que te laves ............... ?

Doubt and speculation is perhaps a good starting place to explain the subjunctive mood to English speakers, but is entirely inadequate for explaining how to really use the subjunctive.

Como dijo David, dudo no es adecuado. Hay mas cosas invueltas en el sugjuntivo, pero en los ejemplos que tu diste, le verbo querer y gusta
indica un deseo. Un deseo no es una cosa segura.

One questions. Do you all are teachers?

Because, always, I see your corrections, and you seems teachers for your way of writing and speaking.

Not all of us are teachers. Several are, however. We correct each other because we help each other learn by doing so.

Not to worry, it´s totally acceptable to make mistakes.
You only need to always identify your mistakes, accept corrections and learn from them..., that´s how we all learn.
