En la frase
"Está dentro de mis calculos que usted se sorprenda al recibir esta carta" yo entiendo que el sentido es " estoy esperando que usted se sorprenda.." o " está dentro de mis intenciónes..." tengo razón o no ? Gracias

Estas son mis interpretaciones:
Seguramente usted se sorprenderá al recibir esta carta.
Sé que no se esperaba de recibir esta carta.
Sé que se sorprenderá al recibir esta carta.
No me extrañaría si usted se sorprendiera al recibir esta carta.

Cálculo significa también "conjetura, suposición"; por lo que sí, es la reacción que esperaba. Yo no diría "intenciones", sino conjeturas, suposiciones o expectativas.
