¿Por qué?
Another story, and I think I have this one pretty good. Just a few areas where I may need a little help.
¿Por qué? -¿Mamá, dónde acaba el cielo? -Donde acaba tu mirar. -¿Por qué se mueven las olas? -Pues prque quieren jugar. Why? -Mom, where does the sky end? -Where your sight ends. -Why do the waves move? -Because they want to play. -Who changes, mom, the moon? -Her great love for the sun. -And the sun, why does it travel? -To give light to her love. -Why don't I see the air? -Because it wants to trick you. -And the fire, why does it burn? -Because it wants to teach us. -And, mom, why the earth, why this day, this time? Why the love, why the cold? Why do I say why? That's it. It is a conversation between mother and child. In the firt two lines, could you not also use the word "terminar". But in the correct tense. I find it fine, except for a couple of typing errors.
And yes, you could also use "terminar". At least in Mexico, they're synonyms most of the time.

The sun is a "he".
To be honest, the translations is far too literal. For instance: "donde acaba tu mirar" means something on the lines of "where(ver) your stare reaches".

Thanks aleC and Angelica. I am trying to get the practice with these little stories and poems. There are some that take up a good twenty pages. Don't worry, I won't type those all the way out.
