Means you are ashamed on somebody's behalf... cannot think of a translation though.

Sentir vergüenza ajena: to be ashamed for someone.
When I saw him come to the party in those scruffy clothes I was ashamed for him. Dar vergüenza ajena: to make people ashamed for you? Sounds odd... |
