"Me gusta cocinar, pero no soy muy bueno en eso." ?
Does this:
"I enjoy cooking, but I'm not very good at it." Translate into this: "Me gusta cocinar, pero no soy muy bueno en eso." ? ( this is ment to be Spanish for spain) Last edited by Random--one; April 27, 2017 at 10:13 PM. |

I would use: A mi me gusta cocinar aunque no lo hago bien.

"No lo hago bien" goes towards an acknowledgement of mediocrity. To match the "less than perfect" or even litotes-like nature of the original, I'd rather say:
"Me gusta cocinar, pero no es mi fuerte" "Me gusta cocinar, pero no me destaco por ello" (meaning "quizás me destaco/destaque, pero no por hacerlo bien)
