Hola!
Cobrar = To charge (moneda)
Haber = To have (no lo confundas con Tener)

Quisiera cobrarte cinco dolares - I would like to charge you 5 dollars
Le había cobrado cinco dolares - I had charged him 5 dollars
He cobrado cinco dolares por eso juguete - I have charged 5 dollars for this toy

Usualmente se usa el verbo haber como un verbo auxiliar.
Usually HABER is used as an auxiliar verb, or helper verb.

Conjugación en el presente de indicativo
HABER + Participio

Se forma el participio así
-AR Cobrar Cobrado
-IR/ER Correr Corrido / Traducir Traducido

Yo he
has
Ella/él/usted ha
Nosotros hemos
Vosotros habéis
Ellos/ustedes han

Aquí son algunos ejemplos
Here are some examples

Ella ha leíd la historía - She has read the story (el participio del verbo LEER es leído)
He visto un pájaro guapo - I have seen a pretty bird (el participio del verbo VER es visto)
Ya has aprendido cómo se usa el verbo haber - Now you have learned how to use the verb haber

Espero que te ayuden los ejemplos

In addiction the sentence as you written there doesn't make sense, because the you don't use correctly the verb.

These choice is the probably one.

Me hubiese gustado cobrar.
I've liked to collect it.

Me habria gustado cobrar algo.
I would have collected something.

Hubiera cobrado.

I have collected.

I hope these examples can help you.

Me hubiese gustado cobrar.
I've liked to collect it. (Pienso que debiera ser más parecido a algo así - He would have liked to charge me.)

Me habria gustado cobrar algo.
I would have liked to collect/charge something.

Hubiera cobrado.
I have collected.
¿Porqué usas el subjuntivo aquí Cro? No entiendo.
Puedo decir, He cobrado - I have charged/collected
Hubiera/Hubiese cobrado - I would had charged

I hope these examples can help you.
Hola amigo
¿En México se usa hubiese más que hubiera?

It is possible to use that sentence "haber cobrado" (infinitivo compuesto), for instance:

Me hubiera gustado haber cobrado algo por mi trabajo.
Hubiera preferido haber cobrado a fin de mes, en lugar de cobrar a fin de semana.
El hecho de haber cobrado más que yo no significa que tú trabajes más.

A veces se usa con un valor apelativo, de recriminación al oyente por no haber hecho algo:

Haberlo dicho antes y no hubiéramos ido a verte.
No sabía que te dolía la cabeza, haberlo dicho antes y me hubiera callado.

I hope it'll be helpful.

No, Bob. Se usa más "hubiera", pero hay quienes creen que suena más refinado decir "hubiese".

The way I see it.

i wanted to charge them somthing - Quise cobrarles algo.

yo quisiera haber cobrado algo - I wanted to have charged something.

Now, if you wanted to say:

I wanted to have charged them something - Quisiera/quise/quería haberles cobrado algo.
