Hola,
Cómo se dice eso en español? También me tocó interpretar-- to crawl--gatear to creep--arrastrarse to scoot--?? Gracias a todos. Cuento con ustedes! Marsopa |

I couldn't find a translation for to scoot. Your other translations are correct. |

Depending on the context, scoot could be arrimarse, moverse, hacerse a un lado etc.
Careful with hacerse a un lado; it can also be used figuratively.

Some more options for peek-a-boo:
Jugar a aparecer y desaparecerYou might even be able to use: Jugar a escondidas con un bebéEven though escondidas is really hide-and-seek.

In the Spanish dubbed version of Ice Age I (La Era de Hielo I), Diego was playing with the baby and that's what he was saying while playing peek-a-boo.
"¿Dónde está el bebé? ¡Aquí está el bebé!" "¿Dónde está el bebé? ¡Aquí está el bebé!"

thanks
Well, I think I said "jugar a escondidas" but maybe next time I will say "dónde está el bebé?"
As far as "scoot" goes, maybe I will just stil with moverse (sentado). thanks, |

Cúcú...
Tras, tras... Cúcú... tras, tras... This is what they always say to me. When saying cúcú, they show their faces. When saying tras, tras, they hide them. Can anybody explain it to me?
