Y tambien esta: "Las bombas habian caido" Depende de lo que quieras decir. Que tal si escribes primero en ingles lo que quieres decir en español? |

He had heard that the bombs had fell (this is what I want to say, Im not sure which tense to conjugate HABER when expressing something that has happened in the past. Because saying "Hubieron caido" I am translating it as "had fell". And when I translate "Han caido" (have fell).. They seem the same in english but I don't know which to use in spanish gracias él hubo oido que las bombas hubieron caido él ha oido que las bombas han caido Depending on how I should be conjugating HABER I can fix alot of the errors in my story gracias

Lo siento, tengo más preguntas
¿Cuáles la differencia entre los dos? Él hubo comprado el coche (He had bought the car) Él compró el coche (He bought the car) Aquí este un parte. The conjugations of HABER are killing me, I find myself using HABER to express the past tense all the time for some reason example él ha comido/él comió Hace mucho tiempo hay un hombre.

The "pretérito anterior" is used to talk about an action that happened in the past, right before another past action.
It's not popularly used, so my advice is you don't get obsessed with "haber + past participle", and focus on simple past. Cuando Juan hubo comprado el coche, se fue de vacaciones. When Juan had bought the car, he went on holidays. (This one would be the best, but very few current speakers would use it) Cuando Juan compró el coche, se fue de vacaciones. When Juan bought the car, he went on holidays. Quote:
(*) "From the gypsy woman" ?? That should be "que le compró a la gitana" (**) Never "mientras" + infinitive. Always "mientras" + conjugated verb. It's rather exhausting to keep correcting details you could avoid by keeping concentration, so let me recommend: -- Keep an eye on spelling. -- Check your "yo" and "él" conjugations... I'm sure you know the difference, but you get distracted and mix them all the time. -- Be careful with correspondence between substantive's gender and number and its adjectives and articles.
