To get away with something

Hi everyone

How would I say "get away with" in the context of escaping consequences or notice?

The dictionary translates "get away with" as "salirse con la suya", but it sounds like the context is to escape punishment.*

Could I use that phrase when the context is something like to get away with using cheaper ingredients or to get away with not using sunscreen?

Thanks

"Salirse con la suya" means to do what you want despite anyone else and be satisfied about it.

-> I wanted to open a new business and I worked for it until I could do it.
-> You went away despite my own will that you didn't.
-> The politician tried to steal but he received a punishment for it.

About your examples, personally, I think you may use "salirse con la suya" if the focus is on the person's will:

As always, there isn't only one translation for one expression and you may also use other constructions:
