Sound perfect

¿Cómo se dice..?

"She sounded perfect for us,like she was the right person." (As a tenant or for a job foe example)
"Ella sonaba perfect para nosotros como era la persona correcta."

This frase in Spanish doesn't sound right to me using "sonar" and "correcta" but I can't think how else to translate it.

You're right, "to sound perfect/right/wrong/etc" is an English idiom, and "sonar perfecto/correcto/cierto/falso/etc" isn't the best solution.

It may help you to consider other ways to express the basic idea of "She sounded perfect for us". That may help you to see other ways to express the idea in Spanish.
