Cuando se refiere al juego de cartas, ¿cómo se dice en español?
¿Ir a pescar?
¿Ir de pesca?

¿O tiene otro nombre distinto?

En la actualidad, Go Fish es lo que hace la persona que busca una carta y el compañero no la tiene.

Mas bien sería.....Vete a pescar......

Por ejemplo,
...JPablo, "Elaina, tienes un tres?"
...Elaina, "No, vete a pescar."

Entonces coges una carta de la pila de cartas y luego sigo yo...... etc. etc etc

Catch my drift?

Aaah... "robar".

Si necesitas una carta y no la tiran (sacarla de su propio juego) los demás, entonces hay que robar del montón (tomar la carta de hasta encima). Algunos juegos permiten robar varias cartas hasta encontrar una que sirva antes de pasar el turno al siguiente jugador.

Aquí se usa "comer" en los juegos infantiles -pumba,UNO-, cuando otra persona te obliga a "comerte" tres cartas. En los juegos serios, como mus, brisca, tute, etc.. es siempre robar o coger.

Gracias a todos (aunque un poquito retrasadas). Vuestro "feedback" me resulta siempre muy útil, provechoso y constructivo... aunque en este caso se trate de "robar"

O de ir de pesca... como el diálogo entre sordos:

-¿Vas de pesca?
-No, voy de pesca.
-Ah, creí que ibas de pesca.
-Pues ya lo ves, sí, voy de pesca...

Pero eso es harina de otro costal... (que le debo haber robado a algún autor que no recuerdo...)
