Can anyone give me advice on a French language course in France?

Being the language lovers that we are... A place to talk about, or write in languages other than Spanish and English.

Can we go back a few posts here?

So, Italy is not the place to visit now?

Here I am planning my big vacation to Italy in May of next year and I'm reading your posts and it sounds absolutely frightening!

Shall I go some other place?

Ideas? Suggestions?

Sosia will be here too, and you might be able to see Alfonso in a smoking jacket, smoking a pipe... Killing two, even, three birds with one stone.

You can freely travel to Italy. We are speaking about intern politics, the turist people doesn't notice that. If you have planned Italy, you must go, it's a beautiful palce.
In the other hand, Spain is always waiting for you ....

Sosia, you should say home politics. An intern is somebody like the world-famous Monica Lewinsky...

Use internal politics. It's even better than home politics.
Elaina,
Their leader Silvio Berlusconi (I probably spelt his name wrong) has chosen to selectively persue a certain ethnic group (fingerprinting gypsies) who have lived in Italy for centuries. This is the kind of thing that hasn't been done since World War II. It sounds very alarming, but I don't think his ideas are popular with neighboring governments, and they will probably lead to nothing other than unfortunate indignity for its victims.

I honestly think Italy is worth visiting, but if politics over there horrifies you, and you are still interested in visiting Europe, Spain speaks your second language and they aren't persecuting ethnic minorities. It's probably a little bit less
expensive too.

Ah man! Here I was planning on wearing my gypsy costume on my travels through Europe! (NOT)

Well, I was thinking on landing in Roma, staying there a few days then take the train (EuRail) and travel through Florence, Monao, Nice, Marseille and other towns arriving in Barcelona, which would be my last city, stay a few days and then leave for the States from there.

I am hoping (God willing) that I am able to do this......

Thanks for the reassurance.

Parece un viaje maravilloso. Las culturas son muy distintas aunque la distancia sea poca. Vas a aprender mucho.

I would have agreed with Poli, but it's good to know how to say things in the UK too.
