Me molesta que

Does the expression ‘me molesta que’ automatically take a subjunctive, or is correct to use the indicative instead?

It always bothers me that he asks me for money:
Siempre me molesta que me pida dinero.
Siempre me molesta que me pide dinero.

Many thanks.

The subjunctive is used. You're dealing with an emotion.

I agree with Rusty. All similar expressions with emotions and opinions take the subjunctive:

-Me gusta que
-Me molesta que
-Me disgusta que
-Me encanta que
-Me enoja que
-Me hace feliz que
-Me pone contento(a) que
-Me enferma que
-Me preocupa que
-Me tranquiliza que
-Me indigna que
-Me divierte que
-Es el colmo que
-Es bueno que
-Es malo que
-Es sorprendente que
-Es indignante que
-Es increíble que
...
etc.
