Does the expression ‘me molesta que’ automatically take a subjunctive, or is correct to use the indicative instead?
It always bothers me that he asks me for money: Siempre me molesta que me pida dinero. Siempre me molesta que me pide dinero. Many thanks. |

The subjunctive is used. You're dealing with an emotion.

I agree with Rusty. All similar expressions with emotions and opinions take the subjunctive:
-Me gusta que -Me molesta que -Me disgusta que -Me encanta que -Me enoja que -Me hace feliz que -Me pone contento(a) que -Me enferma que -Me preocupa que -Me tranquiliza que -Me indigna que -Me divierte que -Es el colmo que -Es bueno que -Es malo que -Es sorprendente que -Es indignante que -Es increíble que ... etc.
