Children accompanied by adults

Niños acompañado de adultos is what I saw written and I thought it seemed wrong. I would use con. Would I be wrong?

"Niños acompañados de adultos" is correct, Poli. "De" is the usual preposition for this verb.

When I see "acompañado con" is rather for talking about things, not people:

...for example, when describing food:

...also when talking about music:

...and other cases:

In all these cases, you could use "de" instead of "con", and it wouldn't sound strange. But if you use "con" when talking about people, I do find it weird.
