I’m looking for other ways to say: “codo con codo”.

The expression has been taken from the following paragraph:

“Para combatir el exceso de peso hay que trabajar codo con codo con el veterinario. Fernández tiene dos consejos principales: primero, hace falta alimentar a su mascota a una hora fija cada día, por ejemplo cuando los animales se despierten; segundo, cuando la familia se sienta para comer es imprescindible romper el hábito de dar trozos de comida a los animales.”

Is this expression below correct and accurate?

Are there any more I could also use?

codo a codo = codo con codo

conjuntamente
lado a lado
hombro con hombro

More options:

hay que trabajar estrechamente con el veterinario...
hay que trabajar en estrecha colaboración con el veterinario...

In English "work closely with the vet..." seems to be the most common way to express this idea.
