Colours with Compound nouns

Are both of the Spanish sentences below correct?

Remember to wear the yellow team jersey:
• Recuerda ponerte la camiseta del equipo amarilla.
• Recuerda ponerte la amarilla camiseta del equipo.

Many thanks in advance.

I suppose you know that the natural sentence would be "recuerda ponerte la camiseta amarilla del equipo".

Spanish is flexible, indeed, and usually the order of the words doesn't change the meaning of the sentence; so they are correct, but awfully awkward, and you will get funny looks if you speak like that.

In your first example, "amarilla" is too far away from "camiseta", so your listener/reader will have to reflect for a moment before knowing that the adjective is not about "team" and therefore it doesn't have the wrong gender.

In your second example, the use of the adjective before the noun gives the adjective an emphasis that the idea doesn't need, so it sounds either archaic or like a calque from English. Your reader/listener will be perplexed.

Thank you, AngelicaDeAlquezar.
My first instinct with this was that it should indeed be "la camiseta amarilla del equipo".
What confused me a little is the other rule that I read about where we should never separate compound nouns, which is why I tried the above two options. DoI need to disregard this rule for colours? Thanks again for your help.
