I Don't Think..........
What is the correct way to say: I don’t think she wanted us to know.
No creo que (ella) quería??? / quisiera??? que lo??? supiéramos. I'm not sure if "querer" in this instance takes the subjunctive or if the indicative is okay. I'm not sure if "lo" is required in this sentence or can the sentence simply end with "supiéramos." Any and all input is appreciated. |

No creo que quisiera* que lo supiéramos. (such notion is not in my mind - my mind rejects the notion that she wanted that)
Creo que no quería que lo supiéramos. (such notion is in my mind) You might omit the "lo" if "it" is perfectly known to both parts in the conversation, yet it "oils" the dialogue and, for native speakers, it makes the sentence easier to parse. Creo que viene No creo que venga Creo que no viene No creo que no venga / No creo que falte *better with "haya querido"
