I´m planning to go to CR this Christmas from NYC, any suggestions of where to stay, where to fly, other things?
Lodging near to San José, to Liberia etc.............

Where are you from?
When you are in other country where the first language is English, you achieve to understand to the foreign people.

I'd like to know something about your experience in other countries where the language is specially English.

Robin,

I didn't visit everywhere I would have liked, but I enjoyed Volcán Irazú. On a clear day, you can see both oceans from its peak. That's just one of many gorgeous national parks. I would certainly recommend that you visit at least two of them while you're there.
It may be too far to travel, but I hear that Puntarenas has a very nice beach looking out to the Pacific. Limón, on the other side of the country, is a nice place, too. I traveled there by train.
