Asking about the Copa Mundial

What would be the most common way of asking an employee of a restaurant if they are going to be showing the world cup games on TV.

In English we would say "Are you going to have the games on TV?" or "Are you showing the WC on TV?" etc.

In Spanish?

Supongo que quieres decir que está claro que van a poner los partidos, no hace falta preguntar si los van a poner o no. De acuerdo completamente.

¿Van a pasar el Mundial? would be the most common here.

As a curious thing, here in schools you can watch the World Cup games... even they have made some ridiculous books "to make the most" of the football games for the kids. In summary, kids will be watching the World Cup instead of been studying.

I mean, really - isn't the World Cup more important than maths?

By the way, Ookami - I just got my Argentina Soccer jersey. It doesn't say "Messi" on it. Do they really consider Maradona to be "god-like" in Argentina?

Maradona parece más un cerdo que un diós. En serio ¿piensas llevar un jersey?
¿Cuál será tu equipo preferido? ¿Boca Juniors?

Generally, we consider it a "god-like" in football skills and someone not worth talking about in all the other things. But maybe among(between can go here?) poor people, that generally is less educated(yes, it sounds bad but it's the[capitalism] true), yes, it's like a god-like.

¿Pensás ir a la cancha a ver a algún equipo jugar laepelba ?
