To egg someone on
Significa instigar alguien hacer algo--o tal vez desafiar a alguien con palabras. ¿Existe un dicho en español semejante?

I think:
echar leña (al fuego) = to add fuel to the fire to egg someone on = incitar a alguien a hacer algo (o portarse mal)(o pelearse) to egg someone on = azuzar, incitar, provocar |

@ Rusty

"To egg someone on", Based on my knowledge of English, this term is used in a negative context, e.g. to encourage someone in doing something mischievious or bad.
