Question ¿Qué hace el caimán?

El perro ladra.
El gato maúlla.
El elefante barrita.
La vaca muge.
El toro brama.
El león ruge.
La rana croa.
El pato... ¿hace “cua-cua”?
La gallina cacarea.
El búho creo que ulula...
¿Qué hace el caimán? ¿Ruge?
El asno rebuzna...
Y los Homo sapiens sapiens... también, de vez en cuando.

Mi interés en concreto es en el caimán.

(No tengo ni idea de cómo suena “el grito del caimán”... Y Félix Rodríguez de la Fuente, y el De la Cuadra Salcedo no vienen en mi ayuda, así a bote pronto, con lo que cualquier ayuda en esto, será de agradecer...)

Encuentro esto googleando, pero cualquier “input” será bienvenido.
Los cocodrilos despliegan conductas sociales mucho más complejas que la mayoría de los reptiles y a menudo son muy territoriales, especialmente durante la temporada de cría. In English they hiss in addition to biting. I don't know a good word for hiss in Spanish, and am not sure what dictionary
translation to choose.
