¿Cómo se dice....?

"I'm not the type of person to pick up a book and spend ages reading."

"No soy el tipo de persona de coger un libro y pasar mucho tiempo leyendo."


"I'm not the type of person that likes confrontations."

"No soy el tipo de persona que le gusta la confrontación."

Yo diría.

No soy el tipo de persona que va coger un libro y pasar mucho tiempo leyendo.

Y lo que Julvenzor puso yo lo escribiría así:

No soy el tipo de persona que coja un libro y (se) pase mucho tiempo leyendo.

Pero el sabe de gramática y yo no.

Así que veamos que pasa.

...Y el que escribió Chileno, yo lo escribiría "... que vaya a coger/agarrar un libro..."

However, I wouldn't object "...que coge un libro y pasa horas leyendo"; I guess the present tense makes the statement that this is opposed to what I actually usually do, while the subjunctive expresses the idea that it's something I wouldn't do.
