In Spain, ordenador. We also use pc (pe cé) as a shorter word. And laptop, (ordenador) portátil.

I think in Latin America they use computadora.

that`s right. but I have a computer and a laptop. so between they are diferents.
my computer is in my house and my laptop I use it wherever.
en frances se dice ordinateur. I think so,.

Yes. "Una laptop" is "una computadora portátil". "Una desktop" is "una computadora de escritorio".

By the way, except for having the wrong article (unA laptop), was the rest of my Spanish correct!? I used the impersonal voice correctly??? Amazing!
